Ten years after he stormed the Edinburgh Fringe, Joseph Morpurgo is set to revive his iconic, wildly acclaimed hour of excavated vinyl and throttled hyperkonzept, Soothing Sounds For Baby.
Joseph has been invited onto Desert Island Discs. He has dressed up and picked his eight records. Should be exciting, right? The truth is this will be one of the most awkward experiences he's ever had.
Soothing Sounds For Baby was nominated for Best Show at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards 2015, was named Best Show of 2015 by Time Out, and won three Chortle Awards. The Guardian described it as "one of the decade’s finest fringe comedy shows”.
